Code of Ethics

The nature of the computer consulting industry gives our employees a high degree of access to sensitive information at client sites, as well as some operational control of their business.  In the eyes of the customer, we can be viewed as a potential threat to their company.  For this reason, we have developed a “Code of Ethics” that all employees and owners or Progressive Computing, Inc. must abide by.

The Progressive Computing, Inc. Code of Ethics:

  • In the course of my professional activities, I shall conduct myself in accordance with the highest standards of moral, ethical and legal behavior.

  • I shall not commit or be party to any unlawful or unethical act that may negatively affect my professional reputation, the reputation of my profession, the reputation of our clients, and the reputation of my employer, namely, Progressive Computing, Inc.

  • I shall appropriately report any activity (related to the profession) that I believe to be unlawful to the management of Progressive Computing, Inc. and/or the proper legal authorities, and I shall cooperate with any resulting investigation.

  • I shall support efforts to promote the understanding and acceptance of prudent information security measures for our clients.

  • I shall provide competent service to my employers and clients, and shall avoid any conflicts of interest; I shall execute my responsibilities in a manner consistent with the highest standards of my profession.

  • I shall not misuse information to which I become party in the course of my duties, and I shall maintain the confidentiality of all information in my possession that is so identified.

  • I shall give clients the most current and accurate information possible.

  • I shall help a client understand the technology being used by them, and the degree of reliability which can be expected by said technology.
